Tee time. 50x40, oil on canvas, 2017
Picture
I have recently started to play golf. It is not easy, I must say. But interesting and really good exorcise. And surprisingly social.
As a visual artist I decided to learn, not only on the golf course, but also on canvas. I will study the poses one by one. The problem is that there are so many. One has to remember a thousand details on every swing.
My aim is to do at least one pose from every tee. All woks are for sale, of course. One must somehow try to finance the game?
Tee 1: Full back swing. Feet shoulder width apart. Stop at full take away.Club at 2 o´clock, right arm straight, look at the ball over your shoulder, keep your head down, weight on your back foot...relaxed?
Previously At address: body parallel to target. Left foot 20-40 degrees to the target. Ball on heal level. Posture, knees flexed, back knee cocked slightly inward. Body bent from the hips (Tiger Wood bend 45 degrees). Left arm parallel to club roughly one hand from your body. Club end pointing to your belly bottom... - but thats an other Tee-story.
